Hello my fellow Bowhunters,
As I am writing this, the first stretch of the bow season has passed and the holidays are quickly upon us. I am hoping you all had a good Thanksgiving, and maybe overfilled the stomachs a little. I have heard a lot of success stories of hunters, filling their bow season tags. I have also heard of a lot of people’s experience of the season being up and down.

For me personally, after a few seasons of eating tag soup, I was finally able to harvest a decent 10 pointer during the rut. It was even more special of a moment as I doubled up with my dad as we harvested bucks on the same night. The weather has been off and on, but overall, I think we have been blessed with a pretty decent winter so far. With Christmas, New Year’s celebrations, late season archery, and muzzleloader ahead of us. I wish you all the best of luck and hope you get to spend time with your family and friends.

Before we know it, the Iowa Deer Classic and our annual spring banquet will be here. Hope you can stop by the classic and see us at our booth to chat or just say hello and we invite you all to our spring banquet at the end of March where Keith Beam will be our keynote speaker.
